The Heavy Industry Low-carbon Transition Co-operative Research Centre (HILT CRC) is a collaborative venture that brings together industries, researchers and government organisations to share the responsibility for the big shift to decarbonisation. We have the scale to make a difference and seek new, low-carbon technologies and methods that will overcome barriers and help transition the steel, iron, alumina and cement industries, to decarbonise heavy industry.
This HDR Industry PhD Scholarship supports a full-time PhD student who is undertaking research in Earth Sciences.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia or international students, who are acceptable as candidates for a research PhD degree at the University of Adelaide.
Applicants should be in their final semester of an Honours degree.
Stipend:
The scholarship will be for 3.5 years and has a stipend payment of $34,210 per annum (indexed annually).
Terms and conditions of this scholarship will be equivalent to RTPS (for domestic students) and UARS (for international students). Please refer below links for the terms and conditions of RTPS and UARS.
