Research: Hydrogen from Methane Pyrolysis:
The Global Hydrogen Production Technologies (HyPT) Center is funded by CSIRO to support 1 x full-time PhD student to develop new understanding and modelling tools for molten metal and salt bubbling catalytic reactors to improve carbon separation and reaction rates. To be based at University of Adelaide.
Research: Hydrogen from Photocatalytic Water-Splitting:
The Global Hydrogen Production Technologies (HyPT) Center is funded by CSIRO to support 1 x PhD student to develop and test cluster-based co-catalysts to improve the kinetics of photocatalytic water splitting and reduce the amount of precious metal used. To be based at University of Adelaide.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia or international students who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD at the University of Adelaide.
Stipend:
The scholarship will be for 3.5 years and has a stipend of $35,000 per annum. It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
