The trustees of the Commonwealth Hill Trust have established the Commonwealth Hill Trust Fund to support students with a passion and desire to pursue a career in agricultural sciences, animal science, animal behaviour, veterinary technology or veterinary medicine at the University of Adelaide.
One scholarship shall be awarded to a student commencing the Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences, Bachelor of Science (Animal Behaviour), Bachelor of Science (Animal Science), Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience) or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology or equivalent program of study in the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences at the University of Adelaide.
Applicants must be Australian citizens and must remain enrolled on a full-time basis in the approved program.
If a student has relocated from a regional, rural or remote area a one-off additional Scholarship payment of $2,500 will be made in the first semester of study to assist with relocation costs to undertake a program of study at the University Adelaide.
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit. Academic merit for commencing students will be determined according to ATAR or equivalent scores. Preference will be given to students from a regional, rural or remote area.
Students in receipt of other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship.
