The ChemCert Scholarship in Agricultural & Veterinary Sciences has been established by ChemCert Limited to support commencing undergraduate students undertaking the Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor of Sciences (Veterinary Bioscience) program of study at the University of Adelaide.

One scholarship shall be awarded to a student commencing a Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences or Bachelor of Sciences (Veterinary Bioscience) program of study.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens, permanent residents of Australia or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa undertaking study as a Commonwealth supported student and must remain enrolled on a full time basis in the approved program for which the Scholarship was approved.

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit and financial need. Preference will be given to a student who has relocated from a regional, rural or remote area to undertake study at the University of Adelaide.

Academic merit for commencing students will be determined according to ATAR or equivalent scores.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and be able to provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial situation.

The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered: acceptance of the Scholarship cannot be deferred. If a student declines the Scholarship offer, the Scholarship will be offered to the next eligible student.

Students in receipt of other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this scholarship.
