The trustees of the Commonwealth Hill Trust have established the Commonwealth Hill Trust Fund to support students with a passion and desire to pursue a career in agricultural sciences, animal science, animal behaviour, veterinary technology or veterinary medicine at the University of Adelaide.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:

  • Be commencing Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences, Bachelor of Science (Animal Behaviour), Bachelor of Science (Animal Science), Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience) or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology or equivalent
  • Be an Australian Citizen
  • Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:

  • Academic merit (ATAR)
  • Answers to questions on the application form
  • Preference for a student who has relocated from a regional, rural or remote location to undertake study at the University of Adelaide 

Important Information:

  • You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
  • The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
  • Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
  • If a student has relocated from a regional, rural or remote area a one-off additional Scholarship payment of $2,500 will be made in the first semester of study to assist with relocation costs to undertake a program of study at the University Adelaide.
