The J.J Bray Law Exchange Scholarship was established in 2003 from the generosity of members of the South Australian Legal Fraternity and the proceeds of the Portrait of John Bray and Dame Roma Glimpses of a Glorious Life Volumes.
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia undertaking study as a Commonwealth supported student; be accepted for one or two semesters to one of the University of Adelaide's official exchange programs; be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate law degree at the University of Adelaide; be able to demonstrate financial need. Recipients will be required to produce evidence of their financial status at the time of application e.g. proof of receipt of Youth Allowance/Austudy/Abstudy before the scholarship can be confirmed.
The award of the scholarship is subject to acceptance into an Exchange Program at the University of Adelaide and commencement of this Exchange within 12 months of approval.
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit and financial need. Academic merit for continuing student will be determined according to students' cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) or equivalent scores.
Student in receipt of other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship.
