Applicants must be Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, permanent residents of Australia or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa undertaking study as a Commonwealth Supported student in the program for which the scholarship was approved.
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit, financial need and answers to questions on the application form. Academic merit for current students will be determined according to students' cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) or equivalent scores.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and be able to provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.
