One scholarship shall be awarded to a commencing or continuing student undertaking a Bachelor's level of program in the field of Engineering (programs as listed above) at the University of Adelaide.

Applicants must be Australian citizens undertaking study as a Commonwealth supported student and must remain enrolled on a full time basis in the approved program for which the Scholarship was approved. Students may enrol in a double degree program provided that one of their degree programs is in the list of eligible programs for this scholarship.

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit. Academic merit for commencing students will be determined according to ATAR or equivalent scores. Academic merit for continuing students will be determined according to students' cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) or equivalent scores.  Preference will be given to ATSI students and students who have relocated from regional, rural or remote areas to undertake study at the University of Adelaide.

The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered: acceptance of the Scholarship cannot be deferred. If a student declines the Scholarship offer, the Scholarship will be offered to the next eligible student.

Students in receipt of other University of Adelaide Scholarship may not apply for this scholarship.
