The William Silver Scholarship has been established by the friends and pupils of the late William Silver. William Silver was a teacher in the Elder Conservatorium of Music from 1919 to 1947. 

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be an undergraduate student studying piano at the Elder Conservatorium of Music 

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:

  • Musical talent and promise in piano
  • Preference will be given to a student who is under the age of 18

Important Information:

  • There is no application process for this scholarship, it will be directly awarded
  • You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible
  • The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
  • Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may be eligible for this Scholarship
