The Marjorie Garner Orchestral Scholarship for Trombone was established by Herbert C Garner in memory of his late wife Marjorie Garner.
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- Be a student of trombone in the Centre for Young Musicians in the Open Music Academy of the Elder Conservatorium of Music
If there is no suitable candidate identified in the Centre for Young Musicians in the Open Music Academy of the Elder Conservatorium of Music, the scholarship may be awarded to a candidate who is:
- Undertaking an undergraduate program of study in trombone
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Recommendation by the relevant area
Important Information:
- There is no application process for this scholarship, it will be directly awarded
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may be eligible for this Scholarship
