The Jiri Tancibudek Memorial Scholarship for Oboe was established by various donors in memory of Jiri Tancibudek. Jiri Tancibudek taught oboe at the Elder Conservatory of Music. 

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

  • Be undertaking a Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music (Advanced) or Bachelor of Music (Honours) studying oboe
  • Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
  • Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:

  • Outstanding potential

  • There is no application process for this scholarship, it will be directly awarded
  • You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible
  • The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
  • Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may be eligible for this Scholarship
