The Enabling Educator Excellence (E3) Scholarship has been established by the Department for Industry, Innovation & Science to support undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students commencing a teaching degree.
Up to 30 Scholarships shall be awarded annually to students commencing one of the following programs at the University of Adelaide:
- Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) with Bachelor of Arts
- Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) with Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences
- Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) with Bachelor of Music
- Bachelor of Teaching (Secondary) with Bachelor of Science
- Master of Teaching (Secondary)
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must satisfy one of the following criteria:
- High ATAR or equivalent or above (with adjustment factors), or GPA of 5.5 or above if entry is through undergraduate degree; or
- First Nations people - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; or
- Women in STEM - Women, or those that identify as a woman, who will teach STEM subjects upon completion of their degree.
Selection of the successful candidates will be made according:
- One of the criteria stated above
- Answers to questions on the application form
- Attendance at a short interview
Important information:
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which is offered
- Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
