The Yaitya Tipanthi Scholarship was created to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students as they transition from the Karnkanthi Indigenous Education Program to undertake any program of study at the University of Adelaide.

To be eligible for the Yaitya Tipanthi Scholarship you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent
  • Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
  • Have successfully completed the Karnkanthi Indigenous Education Program

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:

  • Successful completion of the Karnkanthi Indigenous Education Program
  • Academic merit (ATAR)

Important Information:

  • You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible
  • The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
