The University of Adelaide Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship will be offered to all South Australian students who have demonstrated outstanding academic merit by obtaining an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of 99.95 or International Baccalaureate Point (IB) of ~45 (with no adjustment factors included).
These Scholarships will provide an allowance of $12,000 to assist with education and living costs for the first year of a student's undergraduate program (excluding Bachelor of Medical Studies, Bachelor of Dental Surgery & Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience) programs) and a 100% student contribution waiver for up to four years.
Scholarships will be offered to all students who:
- are Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
- qualify for their year 12 certificate (South Australian Certificate of Education, International Baccalaureate or Steiner curriculum) at a South Australian School in 2023
- have applied through SATAC for admission to a Commonwealth Supported Place in an undergraduate Bachelor's degree program at the University of Adelaide in 2024 and are eligible to receive an offer of a place in that program
- are commencing post secondary studies for the first time in 2024
- obtain an ATAR of 99.95 or IB of ~45, exclusive of all adjustment factors
No formal application is necessary; the University will contact all eligible students.
The award of this Scholarship is subject to the student's admission to an undergraduate Bachelors program and confirmation of full time enrolment at each of the census dates (March and August).
The Scholarship cannot be deferred. The Scholarship must be taken up in the year of offer.
