International Student Support Grants are available to assist our international students impacted by COVID-19 and experiencing financial hardship while continuing their study in trimester 1 or semester 1, 2021. Students who have received two $500 support grants (for a total of $1000) from the State Government, which were processed by the University in 2020, are not eligible to apply.

To be eligible for the Grant students must be:

  • an international student enrolled at the University of Adelaide or the University of Adelaide College
  • currently residing in South Australia
  • studying on campus in trimester 1 or semester 1, 2021
  • have received $500 or less in State Government Grants in 2020

Please note students located overseas and studying online are not eligible for this Grant.

At the time of application students must provide official bank statements for ALL bank accounts in their name for the last 90 daysThis includes every day accounts and savings accounts and your full name must be clearly shown on the statement. If students have lost work or had work hours reduced as a result of COVID-19 please attached a letter of support from your employer.

Applications close 5pm, Friday 29 January 2021 and late applications cannot be accepted.

Applicants will be notified the outcome of the grant application in writing to their University email and those eligible will receive payment by Saturday, 27 February 2021.
