The Scholarship, project title “Extreme Imaging through Atmospheric Turbulence and Obscurants”, is funded by Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) to support a full-time PhD student who is commencing research in optical imaging, photonic sensors and laser engineering.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be Australian citizens who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD by Research degree at the University of Adelaide.

Stipend
The scholarship will be for 3.5 years and has a stipend of $40,000 per annum.  It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
