The South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) is part of the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) and is the South Australian Government's principal research institute, providing scientific solutions for primary industries. SARDI has strong links with tertiary education institutions and promotes opportunities for postgraduate study in primary industry-related science through the SARDI Science Bursary for Women. The South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) awards this science bursary to a female graduate every year.

Eligibility:

  • a female Honours graduate
  • currently studying or planning to study post-graduate qualifications
  • in agriculture, fisheries or forestry science
  • at a tertiary institution in South Australia.
