This scholarship is funded by the ARC Training Centre for Battery Recycling to support a full-time PhD student who wishes to undertake research in the field of battery recycling:

Project 7.1:  The proposed project aims to enhance the sustainability and transparency of the battery materials supply chain by integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies. This initiative seeks to address the growing demand for sustainable battery production, ensuring responsible sourcing, and minimising environmental impact while promoting ethical practices across the supply chain.

 

Eligibility

Applicants may be Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia or international students who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide. 

 

Stipend

The scholarship will be for [3.5] years and has a stipend of $35,300 (indexed annually) per annum. 

It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
