The Cedric Stanton Hicks Research Supplementary Scholarship in Chemistry and Biochemistry is funded by the late Sir Cedric Stanton Hicks to support a full-time Higher Degree by Research student who is commencing research in chemistry or biochemistry.

 

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD or MPhil degree at the University of Adelaide in the areas of Biochemistry and Chemistry, and are recipients of a major scholarship at the University of Adelaide. Applicants must also be graduates of The University of Adelaide.

 

Stipend:

The scholarship will be for 1 year maximum with no extension and has a stipend of up to $10,000 per annum.

It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
