The Discovery Project entitled “Multifunctional Structural Panels for Next-generation Infrastructure” is funded by Australian Research Council (ARC) to support a full-time PhD student who will be undertaking research in Numerical Modelling of Sandwich Panels by developing new Laminate Theories and Constitutive Models, and their implementation within an advance Finite Element code.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia/international students who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide.
Stipend:
The scholarship will be for 3 years and has a stipend of $28,854 (indexed annually) per annum.
It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
