The Animal Products Research Scholarship is offered to students commencing a full time PhD in the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology, undertaking science-based research in any field within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology related to the “growth and nutrition of man and animals”.

The Animal Products Research Scholarship is intended to supplement the major scholarship held by the recipient and will provide a stipend valued at $4,200 per annum for up to 3.5 years.  Subject to available funding, one award will be offered every 3 to 4 years.


 
Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident, and must remain enrolled on a  full time basis in a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide.
  • Have been awarded a major scholarship in a competitive scholarship round.
  • Be undertaking research on the growth and nutrition of man and animals.

 

Selection: Selection will be based on academic merit and research potential.
