JBI is a world-renowned international research organisation dedicated to promoting and supporting evidence-based healthcare through the synthesis and implementation of high-quality evidence. Committed to improving global health, JBI works across a wide range of healthcare settings to provide the best available evidence to inform healthcare decision-making. The University of Adelaide Research Scholarship is funded by the University of Adelaide to support a full-time PhD who is commencing research in evidence-based healthcare, focusing on enhancing research methods and evidence synthesis. Individuals awarded these scholarships will receive premier research training, supervised by global research leaders within JBI and the University of Adelaide.

The successful candidates will develop an in-depth understanding of research methods and evidence synthesis. Depending on the project, the candidates will work closely with academics and leaders in epidemiology and evidence-based healthcare research. They will develop skills in systematic literature reviews, management and analysis of data, quantitative research methods, and consumer engagement. The candidates will also have the opportunity to participate in local and national conferences and submit papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Ultimately, these projects will contribute to the improvement of evidence-based practices in healthcare.
