The Crohn’s & Colitis Australia IBD PhD Scholarship makes a provision of $32,000 per annum for up to (3) years full-time supporting CCA’s strategic priority of building inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research capacity in Australia whilst we search for a cause or cure for IBD.

The award is designed for candidates at an early stage in their careers, for example (but not confined to) graduates in any health care discipline or science who are seeking to pursue doctoral studies.

University endorsement required: Please note that prior to submission to CCA all applications require certification by the Dean of Graduate Studies (as delegate for Head of Administering Institution, p. 16). This is arranged by the Research Scholarships team in the AGRS who are the relevant 'Research Office Contact'. Finalised application forms must be sent to the Research Scholarships team via research.scholarships@adelaide.edu.au prior to the internal deadline below.

External deadline (to submit completed application to CCA): Midnight 9 October 2023
