The Australia & New Zealand Musculoskeletal (ANZMUSC) Clinical Trials Network in collaboration with Medibank Better Health Foundation (MBHF) is offering a PhD scholarship for a suitable candidate to conduct musculoskeletal research in the area of osteoarthritis or low back pain. The scholarship is sponsored by MBHF who are providing funds for the entire duration of the candidature. The candidate has the opportunity to be supervised by an ANZMUSC member and work on any project focusing on osteoarthritis or back pain that is relevant to the mission and vision of ANZMUSC. The project does not have to be a clinical trial.

PhD Scholarship: $40,325 plus $2,250 for consumables and travel per annum for a full-time candidature. The scholarship is paid at 50% of this rate for a part-time candidature.

Duration of scholarship: 3 years (full-time) or 6 years (part-time).

Citizenship requirement: Australian citizen or permanent resident
