The Andy Thomas Centre for Space Resources - Psychology and Deep Space Habitation award is funded by The Andy Thomas Centre for Space Resources to support a full-time PhD student who is commencing research in the psychological aspects of deep space habitation.


Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia / onshore international students who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD degree (see PhD admission requirements) at the University of Adelaide, and have been awarded a major scholarship (RTPS or UARS) in a competitive scholarship round.

The scholarship will be for up to 3 years and has a stipend of $5,000 per annum (fixed rate).

It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
