The Centre for Augmented Reasoning are offering two scholarships available which are funded by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment to support full-time PhD students who are commencing research in machine learning with a focus on augmented reasoning.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD degree at the University of Adelaide.  Female applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

Stipend:

The following scholarships will be available:

 

  • 2x standard 3 year scholarships with a possible 6 month extension

These scholarships  and have a stipend of $40,000 per annum (indexed annually). Female applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are strongly encouraged to apply. The scholarships are likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
