The Decie Denholm Research Scholarship in History is funded by the late Decie Aileen Denholm to support a full-time Higher Degree by Research (HDR) student who is commencing research in the area of history (including but not limited to ancient history, heritage and museum studies, art history, history of science).

Eligibility:
To be eligible to apply, a candidate must be:

• a current student of the University of Adelaide, or a graduate of the University of Adelaide; and
• eligible to commence (or have already commenced) a full-time Higher Degree by Research program of study in the year for which the scholarship is being awarded at the University of Adelaide in the area of history (including but not limited to ancient history, heritage and museum studies, art history, history of science)

Stipend:
When offered as a Major Scholarship, the value shall be 10% greater than the currently applicable stipend applying to the University of Adelaide Research Scholarships, as published in the Conditions of Award.

When offered as a Supplementary Scholarship, the value shall be $10,000 per year or as determined by the Selection Committee.

The scholarship/s will be for up to 3.5 years (PhD) or up to 2 years (Masters). There are no extension provisions.
