The University of Adelaide Faculty Divisional Scholarships are provided to support full time PhD or Masters students who are commencing research in any field.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Australian Citizens or permanent residents of Australia who are acceptable as candidates for a PhD or Masters by Research degree at the University of Adelaide.

A minimum of a Second Class Honours degree or equivalent is required.

Scholarships are offered on the basis of academic merit and Faculties may also consider area of research when selecting recipients.

Stipend:  The scholarship will be for 3 years and has a stipend of $28,092 (indexed annually) per annum. It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval. Details of any terms andor benefits can be found in the Conditions of Award.

Discussion with a potential supervisor is also recommended prior to application for a Divisional Scholarship.

Applying: The awards are allocated as part of the Mid-Year Round (subject to funding) and Major Round of scholarship applications. When open, applications must be submitted using the Online Application Form.
