The George Fraser and Constance Fraser Scholarships are awarded to the highest-ranking Honours and Masters graduates who apply for an Research Training Program Scholarship or University of Adelaide Scholarship who are not in receipt of an award or scholarship of equal or greater value. Where a scholarship of higher value is available, the George Fraser and Constance Fraser scholarships may be awarded to applicants who are not the highest ranked.

The George Fraser Scholarship is awarded to an applicant with an Honours qualification.

The Constance Fraser Scholarship is awarded to an applicant with a Masters qualification.

Stipend: 

When offered as a Major Scholarship, the value shall be 15% greater than the Australian Government RTPS rate.

When offered as a Supplementary Scholarship, the value shall be 15% of the Australian Government RTPS rate.

The scholarship will be for 3.5 years. It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
