The 2025 Endowment Funded Travel Scholarship Round provides the opportunity for Higher Degree by Research students to apply for a range of scholarships that provide funding to support research costs such as travel, equipment, data, and data collection. The funds are to support research activities that will be undertaken in 2025. The following scholarships are available in this round:
- Aldermann Kleeman Research Travel Scholarship in Geoscience
- AUGU/RC Heddle Award
- Bill Stuart Memorial Research Travel Scholarship in Petroleum Geoscience and Petroleum Engineering
- Charles and Frank Fenner Research Scholarship in Geographical and Environmental Studies
- Constantinos Moraitis Research Travel Scholarship in Classics, Archaeology and Ancient History
- Eric Rudd Memorial Research Travel Scholarship in Mineral and Petroleum Exploration
- Frank Perry Research Travel Scholarship in Engineering
- T.G. Wilson Research Travel Scholarship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Eligibility:
To hold the award, applicants must:
- be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, Permanent Humanitarian visa holder, or international student; and
- be enrolled in an HDR program at the University of Adelaide.
Individual scholarships included in this round may have further eligibility requirements, such as enrolment in a specific area or research towards a target topic, achievement of certain candidature milestones, or holding prescribed prior qualifications. These eligibility criteria are presented in the Scholarship Details Summary document below. Please carefully consider this document when deciding which scholarships to nominate in your application.
Value and Tenure:
The award will be a once-off lump sum payment. Information about the value of each scholarship included in this application round is set out in the Details of Scholarships on Offer document below.
