About ACADI

The Australian Centre for Accelerating Diabetes Innovations (ACADI) is a virtual collaborative research centre, established through MRFF funding from the Australian Government’s Targeted Translation Research Accelerator (TTRA) program, delivered by MTPConnect. The University of Adelaide is a Core Partner Institution.

 

About PhD Grants

PhD grants (payable as a stipend to support living costs) valued at $31,200 for 12 months are available to support PhD researchers at ACADI core partner institutions from any field whose work aligns with ACADI’s three key priority areas:

  1. Diabetic kidney disease
  2. Peripheral neuropathy and diabetic foot syndrome
  3. Short-term complications of hypoglycaemia and/or hyperglycaemic hyperosmolar syndrome (HHS) and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
