Australian Postgraduate Research Intern (APR.Intern) connects PhD students with industry through short-term internships.  APR.Intern is Australia’s only not-for-profit PhD internship program that spans across all sectors, disciplines and universities. They are the industry arm of the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) and are supported by the Australian Government’s Department of Education and Training.

Eligibility:

  • PhD student currently enrolled at the University of Adelaide
  • PhD candidature must be confirmed
  • Must be a domestic student
  • Applicants must have the written approval of their Principal Supervisor to apply and must be assessed as eligible by the Adelaide Graduate Centre

Stipend:

The scholarship will be for 3-6 months and has a stipend of $3000 per month (paid according to the University’s policies and procedures) . It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
