This prize was established in 2008 by a donation to the University from Mrs Audrey Abbie to provide financial support to an outstanding student to pursue further education or an internship either in Australia or overseas.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must: 
•    Have completed the second year of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
•    Academic merit (GPA)
•    Excellent reports from practitioners (feedback from DVM Extramural Studies)
•    Outstanding academic track record and with excellent professional attributes entering the final year of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine studies;
•    Likelihood of success in clinical practice.

•    The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
