This scholarship has been founded in memory of the late Mr John Robert Barker, and is available to students undertaking research in connection with primary production in South Australia (more particularly in the livestock and wool industries).
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:
- Be enrolled in an Honours program undertaking a relevant research project. Graduates of other universities are also eligible to apply.
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia or New Zealand Citizen
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA)
- Relevant research
- Answers to questions on the application form
Important Information:
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
