The School of Public Health Honours Equity Scholarship has been established by the School of Public Health to support an undergraduate student undertaking their Honours year following a Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences (Advanced) or Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences program, with a major in Public Health at the University of Adelaide.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:

• Be undertaking an Honours year following a Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences (Advanced) or Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences program, with a major specialisation in Public Health
• Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen or holder of a permanent humanitarian visa
• Be enrolled on a full time or part time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place

Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:

• Academic merit (GPA)
• A personal statement demonstrating academic achievements, leadership experience, communication skills and commitment to the field of Public Health and a personal statement outlining their experience of disadvantage. This could relate but is not limited to: Financial hardship, Caring responsibilities, Rural or remote location, Cultural differences, Neurodivergence and Disability or chronic health issues

• The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
• Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
