The EW Benham Honours Scholarships have been established to support two students who are undertaking an Honours Degree at the University of Adelaide in the area of English Literature or English Political History.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:
- Be undertaking an Honours Degree in the area of English Literature or English Political History
- Be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia or New Zealand Citizen
- Be enrolled on a full time basis in a Commonwealth Supported Place
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Academic merit (GPA)
- The relevance of each student's thesis topic
- Answers to questions on the application form
Important Information:
- You must meet all of the above listed criteria to be eligible to apply
- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
- The successful candidates will be required to undertake a research project (minimum of 12 points) under the direction of an academic staff member in the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law & Economics. The students' research topics will be determined by each student in conjunction with the relevant supervisors and School. Research projects must be in the areas of English Literature or English Political History.
