This scholarship has been established by the Brock Family to benefit students who are undertaking a program of study at honours level in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University in 2021.
One scholarship is available each year to a student admitted to the honours year of an undergraduate program in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. Students must be undertaking study on a full time basis as a Commonwealth Supported student at the University of Adelaide.Whilst the scholarship is intended for students studying full time (75% load or above), students undertaking study on a part time basis due to extenuating circumstances will also be considered.
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to academic merit and financial need. Academic merit will be determined according to applicants' cumulative Grade Point Average [GPA] for the preceding years.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need and be able to provide supporting documentary evidence at the time of application, e.g. details of income tested Commonwealth income support payment, such as Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY benefits, or other details of their financial circumstances.
