The Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) Research Scholarship has been established to support exceptional students engage in advanced research in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must:
- Be undertaking the Master of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning program
- Be enrolled in COMP SCI 7205A - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Research Project Part A in Trimester 2 and COMP SCI 7205B - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Research Project Part B in Trimester 3
- Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident of Australia, New Zealand Citizen, holder of a permanent humanitarian visa or
- Be enrolled on a full time basis
- Satisfy Foreign Engagement Compliance Review requirements
Selection of the successful candidate will be made according to:
- Demonstrated academic excellence and strong potential for significant research contributions
- Advanced capabilities in programming languages, familiarity with libraries and frameworks, deep learning and neural networks, and common statistical concepts.
- Answers to questions on the application form

- The Scholarship must be taken up in the year in which it is offered
- Students receiving other University of Adelaide Scholarships may apply for this Scholarship
